Formerly a Hollywood-based marketing specialist with over 15 years experience in the writing and execution of numerous campaigns on behalf of the world’s largest corporations and major film studios, Zennis (an amalgamation of his birth and Buddhist names) has worked closely on the development of high-value alliances with Eon Productions, producers of the James Bond franchise, and the producer partners of Tom Cruise, Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay on various film properties including Minority Report and the Mission Impossible franchise. As part of his consulting work for Disney, he conceived and imagineered the most extensive retail promotion and largest roadshow ever rolled out in Europe, in the latter case touring 80 cities in 12 countries, attracting over 500,000 visitors and nearly $40m worth of media publicity in return for a total production and promotional spend of $9m. Topping his promotional career as lead consultant to Microsoft's global entertainment marketing strategy, he aligned the Windows, MSN and HP brands with the world's largest film franchise by conceiving and negotiating a $20m global tie-in campaign and a 3-minute scene with James Bond - Microsoft's first ever product placement deal. After returning to school to pursue his BA studies in Documentary Film (beneath the tutorship of BAFTA-winning factual filmmaker, Chris Morris), he is now focussed on crossing from entertainment marketing to production and is currently completing the last module of his Master's at Newport Film School where he had his first documentary short picked up for primetime broadcast by the BBC and won several student film awards (inc. the Silver Prize from Lord Puttnam's Big Voice festival jury and the first prize for best TV Film at the Ffresh film festival).
