Synopsis: The Witch of Blackwood follows the story of Katherine Blackwood, a woman hanged for witchcraft in 1682 who is mysteriously swept forward in time to 2015, where she is immediately thrown into an unknown world where her life is threatened by supernatural forces. Running for the evil that pursues her, and trying to discover the mystery that led her to this time, she is found by Patrick, a chivalrous and romantic young detective who is the spitting image of the only man she ever loved, a passionate affair is ignited that tears Katherine’s heart between accepting her duty put forth by a prophecy, or being with the man she loves as the world around her is overcome by darkness. The “Witch of Blackwood” series spins the genres of romance, science fiction, history, and adventure into one epic tale.

Character BIOS

Corey: Female age 25-35
A graduate student she is brainy as well as beautiful. Her studies in anthropology have led her to several discoveries regarding the end of days prophesies that seem to be taking place in their small town. She befriends Katherine and is one of the only people who know her secret. 

Azrael: Male or Female age 25-35
A fallen angel who is looking to kick-start the apocalypse here and now, a true hellraiser with a rock and roll attitude and a flair for the dramatic; Azrael holds the knowledge to open the cage of the old ones and release them on Earth. 

Grace: Female age 35-40
Owns a local tavern where she tends bar. She is sharp witted and quite sarcastic, her family comes from a long line of witch hunters a tradition she carries on in secret. She is very strong with skills ranging from hand to hand combat to weapons training. Will she join Katherine in her quest or hunt her down? She is a key player who remains a wildcard.
