Emerging theatre company Dripping Tap are looking for a versatile performer to join their collaborative team to devise an exciting new piece of visually stunning outdoor theatre, touring a series of Welsh festivals this summer.
The show will involve interaction with the participating audience in the pre-show walkabout, and will be performed on apparatus that will be over 1.5m high at times.
We are looking for someone with a background in physical theatre, devising, and walkabout / street theatre. A physical discipline would be an advantage, prefereably someone with a background in dance / circus / acrobatics. The ability to speak Welsh would also be an advantage but not essential, as the show will be bilingual.
There will be 8 days R & D beginning on the 27th of April culminating on a work in progress showing at the Wye Valley River Festival on the 7th of May.
There will be further rehearsals at the end of May / begining of June, as well as 7 tour dates throughout the summer. The performer must be able to work ALL tour dates.
Rates of pay will be above Equity minimum.

Tour Dates:
18th June, 15th-17th July (one of those days t.b.c.), 29th July- 5th August (one day out of that week t.b.c), One August bank holiday date (t.b.c.), 2nd-4th September (one of those days t.b.c.), A date in the 2nd week of August (t.b.c) and; 23th-25th September (one day t.b.c).
Auditions and interviews will be held in Bangor on Friday the 8th or Saturday the 9th of April.
