Hi Natalie!  Just need to find out when you and Anna will be coming to the Scala in Prestatyn.  I've got 7 young people signed-up at the minute but wasn't sure what age group you wanted.  Also, we need to book a room at the Scala - any idea of dates and how long would you plan it to be?  Hope you're having a blast this weekend!

Happy New Year Nat! You're coming to the Scala to play!  Hurrah! What do you think you would like to do? How many people in a workshop? How long is a piece of string? is there a minimum/maximum age - questions questions questions... let me know - our half-term is 13th to 20th Feb - we've got a Film Nation Workshop on 11th Feb and both rooms are booked so after that would be good. I'll check if there are any dates we can't book at the Scala - can't wait to see you and Anna here... hope you're both great xxxx

Hi Anna I am an Arts Development Officer for Bridgend Council. I was wondering if you would be interested in the scheme below ?
Guy

Are you aged 16 – 25? Could you create a must-read review of theatre or music? Co-ordinated by Bridgend County Borough Council’s Arts and Community Development, the Young Critics’ Scheme aims to develop and showcase the critical voices of young people and encourage them to think critically about the theatrical or musical productions they have seen.

Organised in partnership with the National Theatre of Wales and Academi, one of the National Theatre Wales’ new critics and ex-editor of Buzz magazine, Ben Bryant, will mentor and run workshop sessions to encourage participants to write and explore the role of the art critic, coming up with different ways to respond to theatre and live art including using Face Book, Vimeo and Twitter.

Throughout the coming months, the young critics will be encouraged to write a number of theatrical and musical reviews, beginning with a review of the National Theatre’s Wales production of ‘Love Steals us from Loneliness’ by Gary Owen, which will be performed in Hobos, Bridgend in October.

To get involved in this exciting new project, please call Bridgend County Borough Council’s Arts Project officer Guy O’Donnell, on (01656) 642727, or email: arts@bridgend.gov.uk.
