We are aiming to have to one day of rehearsing and shooting. There are both day and night time sequences to film. The day would start at 10am with a rehearsal for 1-2 hours and then shooting through until we finish the night shots which could be as late as 12-1am. There will be plenty of breaks though and a lunch and dinner will be provided.
Dates will be organised according to actor/ company availability. We are looking at shooting in late July/ start of August. We should point out that a lot of the film takes place in public places so people must be comfortable working in that environment.
It is non paid but you get a credit and a copy of the film. We can pay for small expenses, i.e. short train fares. The film will be toured at film festivals around the country and so will get a lot of exposure.
Please send a headshot and CV to turnshoe@ymail.com. If you don’t have a headshot a clear photo should be ok. Any links to show-reels would be very useful to us as well.

Company of Sirens presents 'Stitching' by Anthony Neilson @ Chapter Arts Centre ... Wed 4th July until Sat 7th July. Performances start at 8pm.

We will fix it. We will mend it... 'Stitching' is one of the most controversial and discussed plays of recent years.
In the light of a pregnancy, a faithless couple pick apart their relationship, stitch by painful stitch. Can it be mended?
Anthony Neilson's dark and intimate new play is a love story set at the extremes of brutality, banality and tenderness.
'Stitching' opened at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, on 2 August 2002 and transferred to the Bush Theatre, London on 12 September 2002.
'Explodes with power, discipline, integrity and sheer cruel psychological accuracy...Neilson's writing has a terrible beauty' - Sunday Times.
'Startlingly rich and challenging, Neilson depicts with aching precision a relationship in which love is undermined by distrust' - Time Out.
'A characteristically brave and brutal offering' - Independent.
'A deeply mesmerising, if shocking, experience as a couple smashes through taboo after taboo in a harrowing sexual tug of war' - Evening Standard.

Gest Train are holding a weekend course designed to help you towards achieving your goal of a place in a UK drama school.
Martin Houghton has taught and directed in most of them including RADA; the Central School of Speech and Drama; ALRA; Mountview Conservatoire; Rose Bruford College; East 15; and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where he was until most recently Senior Lecturer in Acting and the leader of their Post Graduate Acting course.
The course includes a session that will inform you about the schools and courses available. We will guide you through a typical audition process, during which we will advise on self-presentation and interview technique.
You will be expected to prepare two contrasting speeches of your choice, a classic and a modern piece. We will work with you on your speeches creating conditions close to those you will experience during the real thing. The course will also involve a session on sight reading. There will also be plenty of opportunity to sit and discuss the life of a student, and time too for you to ask as many questions as you wish.
This course will be intensive, thorough and tough reflecting the process; and it will demand the necessary determination, focus and energy required if you are to gain entry into any of these institutions.
The course is suitable for those considering applying for either BA or MA programmes in the forthcoming year, or those who may have failed entry previously and are reconsidering.
12 places are offered on this course.
DATES: Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th July 2012 - 10.00am - 5.00pm each day.
VENUE: Platfform 1, Chapter Arts Centre, Canton, Cardiff

Bollocks to poverty are looking for a MC for Beach Break this year. As payment you would receive a free ticket for the festival, there might also be a small fee but this would be arranged between you and the charity organising the tent.
