Hi lovely Playgroupers!

Sending best wishes from sunny Florida... You can't say I'm not committed!

This question is for any one who would like to get involved with the playgroup as a writer....

As you know from the plan after we've explored and work~shopped the published script you'll be asked to create a short piece based on the script we have read, either in the style the characters, story, etc.

My question is... What guidance would you like for the writing of your script? Would you like a specific task?

I look forward to hearing from you!

Not neccessarily. Stimulus or stimuli might be useful, though - as per the practice of some devised theatre companies. For example: an object; a photograph; or a piece of music. ...???

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your comment! The stimulus will hopefully spark during the first few weeks, during the workshop we'll be discussing themes and ideas which come from the text, from which we hope to generate some exciting ideas for the second half of the project!

I hope you can come along to the sessions, ign up sheet is available on the front page of the group :)
