I have asked some of our older youth theatre members to join this site so that they can be a part of the conversation.

Emailing them with the their database- don't want to segregate practitioners from young people but thought if I email them out a list that way they can create a young peoples database of some sorts & then we could share the 2 databases in some way?

What do people think?

I agree, that is exactly the meeting I was trying to get underway, a meeting to discuss a practical event to share our approaches to youth arts facilitation.I totally agree Miranda it would be great find out from Abdul how the young people are progressing and where this is happening? I think a forum is a bigger discussion and is possibly a next step from the planning meeting or the practical event? Did we all agree to invite 1 other to the meeting to start reaching out from the beginning?

Hi guys

Just checking our original purpose was to meet to plan a practical event together as practititoners? is this still the case? Also how do we intend to tie up what we were are doing with supporting the young people who were involved on the day? - one of the successes of the day for me was there feedback? Are they simply doing there own thing now? if so how do we get to hear about it?  If we are talking about a wider remit than this I am in favour of casting the net wider - if we now setting up a forum of some kind how do we link with existing provision and ensure it is inclusive? Am I running ahead of myself - please ignore me if i am - just a little fearful that we don't tread on toes or exclude people who are passionate about this work.

I think to arrange the meeting we should choose a date via Saturdays meeting and then extend an invite to the full list of those who participated in the workshops. What do others think? Would love pics of Fri's workshop. Am happy to start the email once I get the list. Hope your all well!

Hi all, I have done a list for all the people who were there for Saturday's workshops.  I am happy to send that out to someone- I have also included other people within that list who Massive visited.

I agree with Sarah and think it is important to keep the energy & enthusiasm going.

Also pics of Massive workshop will added soon, if people want individual workshop pics that you or your group took part in I can post over a CD.

Hi Everyone,

How are you all? Was really great to come together and start talking about Youth Theatre/Youth Arts in Wales. My email is messupthemess@hotmail.co.uk Who is going to put the database together? I could contact Abdul for a list of everyones emails and send out an initial email suggesting dates for our meeting. I am up for getting this rolling before the Christmas break but we will need to get on to this soon to ensure it happens. Hope your all having good weeks, Sarah
