The Festivals Company is hosting an open audition for a short film called Burger this Saturday (October 6th) at 12pm at The Festivals Company, Ty Cefn, Rectory Road. Cardiff. CF5 1QL.
The film will be directed by Magnus Mork – the winner of the 2012 Iris Prize with his film The Samaritan (you can watch it here, password: mop)
We’re looking for the following groups:
Gay gang: 4-5 guys aged 18-25 (the director is specifically looking for gay actors for these roles)
This is a group of extroverted, loud, funny boys, audacious and witty - the kind that shamelessly would occupy the dance floor in any gay club.
Straight boys: 2-3 guys aged 20-30
These are tough in appearance. Life consists of pubs, football and girls.
The girl: aged 20-30
She is one the coolest among her friends, outspoken and vain.
The chosen actors will be paid for their work on the film (status: low pay). If interested please email or phone the film’s Producer Grant Vidgen (the contact for the audition) to arrange a time: grant@irisprize.org 07740 553669. Magnus will also be present at the auditions.
