On Tuesday May 28th, we invite you to join us to watch A Suitable Girl - a documentary following three women in India struggling to maintain their identities and follow their dreams, amid intense pressure to get married. The film examines the women's complex relationships with marriage, parents, family and wider society.
Do the pressures you faced growing up still exist for young people today? What traditions do you think should be passed on to the next generation?
Join us for a screening of this excellent documentary and a post-screening discussion with older people and younger people alike!
