Presenter in TV and online, Community Film Maker, Film and Stage Actor, Radio Producer and Presenter and Voice Over Artist.
A little more about me:
I have had a very real passion to be involved in performing and presenting since I was a young man. I was lucky enough to retire from the police service at a relatively early age and for several years I have been in a position to actively pursue all my dreams and ambitions. I'm definitely curious (probably just very nosey) about life, I love to meet new people and to learn about new things.
I have performed on stage on about nine occasions and now I am now concentrating more on Film making and occasional TV work. I have been a bit of a 'man on a mission' over the last ten years having been in numerous and different types of films. I work to try to encourage people to get out and actually make stuff their very own visual art happen. In the case of film that is by utilising some of the great quality and quite reasonably priced equipment out there that is easily available to them these days.
I am the founder and project manager of the Voluntary Community Film makers Group 'Film Focus Wales' which is based in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
I am currently leaning towards honing my skills as a director and producer and have several ideas or projects under development for both the near and distant future. I aspire to create entertaining and educational work often addressing 'issues based' subject matter that I consider to be important and which I believe needs to be given a platform to be more seen and heard.
Location:
United Kingdom
Projects I’m working on:
Acting: As well as my work with the Community Voluntary film making group 'Film Focus Wales' I am also one half of 'Fritz Streets Films' with my partner Fritz O'Skennick (a real two man band jobby where we mainly do just about everything between us) We have been shooting various episode4s of the web series 'The Mark' and also Taffman - the First Welsh Avenger' Previously I have been 'Marcus' (the murderous and deceitful older brother) in 'The Visitor', as 'Frankie' (the mature love interest) in 'Love Slash Hate' and as 'Paul Goldberg' (a sad and vengeful millionaire) in the feature horror film 'Theatre of Fear', 'Glyn' the owner of a failing drag club in 'Life's a Drag' previously 'Dad' in 'I'm Here' with 'Its My Shout', 'Ash the Zombie Slayer' in BBC Wales/Its My Shout film 'Fetch' and as 'Bulldog' a Falklands War veteran living out on the streets suffering with the effects of PTSD. I am always looking to meet new people and to get involved in all sorts of varied and interesting projects.
Hi Nigel, thanks for having a read and letting me know, it's much appreciated. My 'fear' was based on a mixture of what I have witnessed, been involved with or just heard and gave the speaker the benefit of the doubt haha
