Profile Information

What I do:
I'm a freelance theatre director and (occasional) producer, based just outside Bristol.
A little more about me:
I trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School 2009-2010, where I won the Elsa Roberts Prize for Directing. I'm a massive fan of story-oriented ensemble theatre and have been fortunate to work with a range of emerging and established artsits on both new plays and classic texts.

After spending a year interning at the Rondo Theatre in Bath, I am now their Associate Director. In 2012 I also co-created 'Homespun', a company specialising in adapting European folk tales for a family audience. Like most artists, I drink too much coffee, but (maybe unusually?) I also used to be a Classicist.
Location:
Bristol/Bath
Projects I’m working on:
"A Christmas Tale" - Homespun Theatre (street-based storytelling in Victorian garb)
"The Blue Bird" - adapted by Alison Farina from Maeterlinck (Christmas tour for Butterfly Psyche Theatre)
"A Dream Play" & "Our Country's Good" for University of Cumbria 2014.
