I am a Stage Manager, Sound Engineer/Designer, Musician and Composer.
Having played guitar for over a decade, I took to theatre through Cwmni Pluen’s ‘Llais/Voice’ in 2014 as Composer and Musician for the production. Having gained a BSc degree in Sound Technology (University of South Wales), I have gone on to record and mix recordings from the likes of Festival No.6 and The Great Escape for BBC Cymru Wales/ACW’s ‘Horizons/Gorwelion’ project. I currently engineer for Cardiff based, music blog ‘Unique Lullaby’ and the ACW funded ‘Forté Project’.
I recently finished a UK Tour for No Boundaries Theatre’s of ‘Golf Course War Machine’ as Sound Designer and Stage Manager. During this time, I was a Stage Manager in The Other Room’s ‘Young Artists Festival 2017’ and worked on several shows of the Cardiff Fringe Festival 2017 as Stage Manager, Sound Designer and Sound Technician. I will be returning as a Stage Manager to The Other Room for Graphic’s production of ‘My Is Rachel Corrie’ in Autumn 2017.
As a guitarist I’ve performed throughout the UK and internationally, highlights including Reading & Leeds, India’s Bacardi NH7 Weekenders, BBC Radio 1 airplay and live sessions at BBC’s Maida Vale Studios.
Projects I’m working on:
Working with Graphic's production of 'My Name Is Rachel Corrie' in Cardiff's 'The Other Room' theatre.
Just finished a tour with No Boundaries Theatre as sound designer and stage manager for 'Golf Course War Machine'.
Currently sound engineer and mixer for BBC Cymru Wales/Arts Council of Wales' 'Horizons/Gorwelion' project, Cardiff based music blog ‘Unique Lullaby’ and the Arts Council of Wales funded 'Forté Project'.
