Mae TEAM National Theatre Wales yn llunio pecyn addysgol i gefnogi testun Safon Uwch CBAC “The Radicalization of Bradley Manning” gan Tim Price.

Mae’r testun hwn yn gofnod ffuglennol o flynyddoedd cynnar bywyd Chelsea Manning.

Mae TEAM NTW yn gweithio gydag Ymgynghorydd Creadigol Traws ar y prosiect hwn, ac yn sicrhau bod y pecyn addysgol yn cynnwys trafodaeth fawr am hawliau traws a sut i fynd ati i lwyfannu straeon traws.

Mae TEAM NTW yn chwilio am DDAU actor traws neu anneuaidd i ddarllen a dehongli rhannau o’r testun, a chyflwyno eu meddyliau i’r camera. Rydym yn annog cyfranogwyr o gefndiroedd heb gynrychiolaeth ddigonol yn benodol. Bydd yr actorion yn cael eu cefnogi gan yr Ymgynghorydd Traws, ac yn cael ffi o £100 am eu hamser, i gynnwys cynllunio a’r cyfweliad ei hun.

Mae NTW yn cydnabod y cynildeb yn y sgyrsiau o gwmpas y testun hwn, ac maent am dalu gwrogaeth i fywyd Chelsea trwy i’r testun hwn gael ei ddefnyddio fel offeryn addysgol mewn ysgolion a cholegau.

Os oes gennych ddiddordeb mewn cymryd rhan, cysylltwch trwy e-bostio team@nationaltheatrewales.org a gadewch i ni wybod pam yr hoffech chi gymryd rhan. Dyddiad cau ar gyfer ceisiadau: Dydd Mercher 2 Rhagfyr

National Theatre Wales TEAM are putting together an educational package to support the WJEC A Level text “The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning” by Tim Price.

This text is a fictional account of the early years of Chelsea Manning’s life.

NTW TEAM are working with a Trans Creative Consultant on this project, and are making sure that the educational package includes a large discussion about trans rights and how to approach staging trans stories.

NTW TEAM are looking for TWO trans or non-binary actors to read and interpret sections of the text, and deliver their thoughts to camera. We particularly encourage participants from underrepresented backgrounds. The actors will be supported by the Trans Consultant, and paid a fee of £100 for their time, to include planning and the interview itself.

NTW recognise the nuanced conversations that surround this text, and want to pay homage to Chelsea’s life by having this text be used as an educational tool in schools and colleges.

If you’re interested in taking part, please get in touch by emailing team@nationaltheatrewales.org and let us know why you would like to be involved. Deadline: Wednesday 2nd December
