In October, Gyre & Gimble and Fuel will be bringing The Hartlepool Monkey to the Centre for a week-long run in the Weston Studio. You can find more about the show here:

We would like to invite you to join us on Friday 20 October at 11am, for a free 2- hour workshop with the company in the Studio.

Gyre & Gimble introduction to Puppetry – for students and early career artists.

The workshop will include techniques in; making a chimp puppet; bringing it to life to express various emotional states, and acting with the puppet. Participants will learn the 3 principles of puppetry -  breath, weight and focus. Participants will also learn ‘working as one’ in a collective.
