Cast and Crew needed! A Tomb with a View by Norman Robbins, February 2020

Peculiar Productions presents

A Tomb With A View by Norman Robbins

When the reading of the late Septimus Tomb's Will reveals a secret bequest to a complete stranger, his family members an insular collection of oddballs- are not happy. Unsurprisingly, threats are made... and the stranger soon ends up dead. But she’s not the first victim and, as the body count rises, the remaining family members must try and work out who’s responsible and stop the rest of them ending up in the family plot...

A Tomb With A View was first performed in 1977, and is the first in a loose trilogy of plays featuring several generations of the Tomb family. Peculiar Productions will be bringing this darkly comic murder mystery to the stage in February 2020 and we arelooking for cast and crew to help us with this task.

From a talkative family lawyer to a sweet and slightly dotty serial poisoner, a dour housekeeper and a man who believes he is Julius Caesar, the characters in A Tomb With A View are eccentric and funny but also dark and (in some cases) murderous.

The cast is small (only 10) so if you've ever fancied giving acting a go, please apply - we're a welcoming and very friendly company.

We're also looking for crew members in all technical departments (including costume, make-up, set, props, sound, and lighting) so if you've ever fancied designing or making a nurse's uniform, a secret passageway behind a bookcase, or
the sound of creaky door hinges, we're looking to expand our techies, so please get in touch.

Auditions packs are now available.

Please e-mail auditions@peculiarproductions.co.uk and we will send them out to you. The closing
date for the return of application forms is Friday 13th September, with auditions and crew interviews set for the week commencing Monday 16th September. If you are interested in taking part but are not available that week, please still apply and the production team will be in touch.

Thank you!

Please note: we are an amateur company, and as such this is not paid work.
