Romeo and Juliet- rehearsals in the forest in West Wales

Well, we have just finished our first 4 days of rehearsals in the woods down at The Stackpole Centre in Pembrokeshire. The cast assembled in Cardiff on Monday for some fantastic training with Maggie from Disability Arts Cymru (thank you so much, Maggie!)

Already, the performance is starting to take vague shape, and yesterday we "staggered through" Act I... amazing!! The cast are reaching new heights already and the music is sounding beautiful. There is something so much more moving about watching the "star crossed" lovers meeting in an old Summerhouse in the middle of the woods, the sun dappling through the lush treetop canopy and slanting down on the fateful pair... hmmmm. If you are coming to see the show, bring your mozzie repellant! Aaaagh.
