Event Description

Food For Art

How can we 'feed' artists who work or want to work in participatory settings?...

How can you 'feed' this question and feed yourself with the chance to win an iPad2?... Yes, you could win an iPad2 for taking 15 minutes to complete a survey!

ArtWorks Wales is inviting you to influence the future of participatory arts training in Wales. You can play your part by taking a small amount of time out, to complete this on-line survey.

This survey is targeting key people, who are known for delivering quality participatory arts experiences... that's why we're inviting you! We will be asking you about your experiences in participatory arts and the training available to you. We want to hear from artists from all art forms, and at all stages in their career – we want to hear from you! This is new and ground breaking research because it offers you a unique chance to share your views on participatory arts in Wales.

After completing the survey, if you're interested in being more involved, you may also be invited to take part in one of five consultation sessions taking place across Wales. We understand how valuable your time is, so if you attend a consultation session you will receive £100 for three hours of your time… and a little networking over a free lunch!

Do not miss this opportunity to add your experience to the first course on the ArtWorks Wales menu! You can answer the survey in Welsh or English- please follow the appropriate link:

English: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/artworkswalesartists

Gymraeg: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/artworkscymruartistiad

The deadline for applications is 31st December 2011.

The information you give in the survey will remain anonymous and any identifying information will be removed from the report. The findings will form a published report that will be presented to Arts Council Wales with the aim of developing a training network for artists like you.

ArtWorks: Developing Practice in Participatory Settings’ is a Paul Hamlyn Foundation Special Initiative with support and funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council, Creativity Culture & Education (supported by Arts Council England) and the Cultural Leadership Programme.

If you have any questions about the research please contact Eleanor Sellers on: Artworkswales@wno.org.uk
