Event Description

Decision Making in Movement Workshop
Led by: Dr. Thania Acarón, PhD BC-DMT FHEA

This introductory movement workshop breaks down every-day decisions into four key stages (Flow/Tension, Attention, Intention and Action*). Participants will reflect and 'dance out' decisions through fun, engaging activities. A space to understand your body better and experiment with new ideas, led by an experienced practitioner. No movement experience needed!

Based on Thania Acarón’s PhD research on movement analysis and violence prevention, this practical workshop can also serve as professional development, providing insights into movement behaviour and group work. Thania's published article on this topic can be found here: (
