Event Description

Bristol Old Vic Theatre School & The Tobacco Factory Theatres present: Directors' Cuts 2014

Written by Gary Owen

Directed by Katie Harris

Designed by Hannah Wolfe

A night out. Friends. Alcohol, a sh*t club, a strop – the usual. But tonight is different. Tonight will change things forever.

When asked to respond to the infamous Bridgend suicides of 2007, Gary Owen wrote a play about his own experiences of being a teenager in a place which was described by Dylan Thomas as ‘an Ugly-Lovely town’.

Love Steals Us From Loneliness is about growing up, being a teenager, dealing with life decisions and how life can sometimes surprise and disappoint you.

Running time 1hr 30mins Age recommendation 14+
