Mike James's new drama Matthew’s Passion is a specially commissioned work by Winterlight Productions and is directed by Chris Durnall.

The show features Calum Glanville-Ellis, a young boy with Asperger's Syndrome, in the title role and includes an original score composed by renowned folk musicians Robin and Bina Williamson.

Matthew's Passion sees familiar Welsh faces of stage and screen Bethan Morgan (Y Pris, Serious Money, Score), Simon Nehan (Birdsong, Made in Dagenham), Ri Richards (Belonging, High Hopes, Satellite City) and Ioan Hefin (Con Passionate, Gwaith Cartref, Belonging) performing alongside 17 year old Calum.
