'Men of Harlech' is a micro budget feature to be shot this summer/autumn in various locations in North Wales and one possible shoot in London. It is an 'old-fashioned' horror in the style of 'Rosemary's Baby' or 'The Whicker Man'. The director is the founder of filmdirecting4women and the crew will be predominantly women. Auditions are in Cardiff at Chapter Arts Centre on Sunday for two male roles:
Rhys: age 30-40 . Small in stature. Quiet, mumbling man with deadpan expression. Ex junkie. Violent nature. Adores his older brother Gareth.
Gareth: age 33 - 43. Average height and build. Ex army now a cop. Charming, persuasive, full of self-help babble despite masterminding a plan of murderous revenge.
Both Rhys and Gareth have North Wales accents and can speak Welsh.
If you are interested but cannot make Cardiff this weekend please contact me anyway for a future audition. ruth@filmdirecting4women.com
