Photography workshop

This day-long workshop is designed for creative people who want to get the best out of their camera, and improve their photography skills.
The workshop will have a strong applied element, taking the form of a series of discussions and practical activities, which will introduce you to the creative and technical possibilities of your digital camera.
By the end of the workshop, you will have learned the skills you need to become a more confident and effective photographer.
Because of the practical element of the workshop, attendees are encouraged to bring a camera with them.

Topics covered will include:
• The basic functions of your digital camera
• Basic lighting techniques (using available light and flash)
• Composition
• Creative use of shutter speed and aperture
• An introduction to photo editing software
