Lighthouse Theatre presents Dylan Thomas' classic broadcast as a promenade performance, on the very streets of the Swansea which inspired it. From the National Waterfront Museum to Cwmdonkin Park, this is a unique theatrical experience. Performed in period costumes, Thomas' words invoke the streets of the town where he grew up; the town which was changed forever by the bombs of February 1941.
At times funny, occasionally poignant, sometimes touching and often uproarious, Return Journey is a celebration of a community's indomitable spirit which exists to this present day.
The show lasts about two hours, ending at Cwmdonkin Park. Participants can walk back to central Swansea in 15 mins or take any bus to the Quadrant.
Tickets £9 (£7 conc): From the Dylan Thomas Centre on 01792 463980 orwww.dylanthomas.com. Each ticket includes a souvenir programme. For more information visit www.lighthouse-theatre.co.uk.
