Thousands of performers take work to Fringe Festivals nationally and internationally every year. Edinburgh Fringe is the biggest arts festival in the world and provides a fantastic opportunity for artists from all backgrounds across all genres to showcase their work. Brighton Fringe (the largest festival in England) also provides a great opportunity to artists but at a fraction of the financial risk. It is a great place to dip your toe in the water, and experience all the positives that Fringe Festivals offer and can be seen as a great testing ground for your work en route to Edinburgh.
Brighton has long established itself as a favourite destination among performers. Show runs are generally shorter than Edinburgh (average show plays 3-5 nights) and Brighton is easily accessible from London, which means some artists can commute.
