Event Description
"There's a crack in the flight of stairs at my very core" (Nuala Ni Dhomhnaill)
The Cosmic Egg ensemble explores this landscape.....the stairs, the people on it, the crack in it, the giant, what can be done. In their exploration they engage in a range of performative tools: text, movement, music, puppetry.... They explore the role of witness and spectator. Their presentation is at times non-linear, juxtaposing text with action, music with words, creating frictions, encouraging the audience to stay alert, to think for themselves. There may be more than one story here. There may be different ways of seeing it, of understanding it, of making meaning from it.
