Hi TEAM, our friends at OtherMother are offering TEAM Members discounted tickets for their current production! Read more below . . .

OtherMother would like to invite NTW TEAM to join us at the final week of our first production, Blud. Written and directed by the one and only Kelly Jones and Anna Poole, and on at The Other Room at Porters from 1at - 18th September it's been going down a storm!

What's it about?

A war is waging between rival football clubs outside the window of an abandoned locker room and Rita and her sister Lou have kidnapped a premiership football player.
Rita is a warrior. A fighter. As the Commander General of the Cotley Town FC female football firm she and her sister Lou trade in violence and power. But when her old friend and the football club’s prized captain Marcus James announces he is leaving for a rival club, Rita’s world turns on its axis and she is forced to become the hero of her own war.

If you fancy a gander, quote the ticket code BLUDOFFER1 to get your ticket at the bargainous price of £8. We're on until Friday 18th September and would love to see you there! Tickets can be bought here: http://www.otherroomtheatre.com/en/whats-on/seasons/bluesky/blud/

Help us shape the future of TEAM . . .

Since 2010, National Theatre Wales TEAM has been our community of people across Wales. TEAM members have influenced and inspired us and made decisions with us on the future of the organisation. Through training, support and by providing opportunities we have worked with people across Wales to become cultural leaders, increase their skills and make a difference to their community.

In April 2016 we will move into the next phase of TEAM. We will be refining the program and responding to the current needs of communities in Wales.

So we want to hear from you. What do you think is missing in your community? What are the biggest barriers in the way of you achieving your goals?

Please take 5 minutes to complete this survey, whether you are doing it on behalf of yourself or an organisation! Everyone who completes this survey will also have the chance to win tickets to see NTW's new show Iliad!

Thank-you! x

Waleslab Artists met and collaborated in Japan!!!

Clare Parry-Jones, a Welsh Performing Artist, visited Japan in March - April 2015. We, Underground Airport, supported her research into Japanese culture, particularly regarding Washi (Japanese Paper) and Mizuko-kuyo (reposing of the soul of an unborn child). She also led a Clown workshop with Japanese actors.

And finally, Clare and Underground Airport decided to create a performance for Japan. She created paper sculptures of human bodies, as a symbol of the life (both human and environmental) lost in Japan after the Fukushima nuclear incident. And we introduced the place, Enoshima, in Kanazawa prefecture. Enoshima has a myth of a brutal dragon and a goddess.

This project is funded by the Arts Council of Wales.
And also, special thanks to Waleslab project of National Theatre Wales!!!!!!!!
