- What I do:
- i am a technical theatre student at swansea metropolitan university studying on the HND technical theatre course.
A few years ago i was admitted to the NYT Stage Management course, and feel that Stage Management is my strongest field within the industry. i have basic lighting and sound skills and have had experiance in set design and construction work within the university.
last summer i was production manager on a new piece of writing called Mothers Boy (written by Beverly Mason) which the company (Arudeawakaning) took to the Soho Theatre and we recieved great reviews.
in the future i would like to look into furthering my stage management skills and also taking technical theatre skills into schools to show others the joy in working behind the scenes and hopefully encourage students to consider technical theatre as an option and not just acting.
