Adam has been writing and producing music for over a decade and was a founder member of hip-hop group Arkane. His solo album, A War Of Nerves, released under the name Mr Ronz was released on Skipping Beats Records in September 2007. The album was described by influential magazine Hip-Hop Connection as 'DJ Shadow level cinematic with added humanity’, and was featured on BBC Radio 1 as part of a ‘Best Of’ end-of-year-retrospective show.
After co-writing the title theme to British movie Kidulthood, Adam has honed his craft scoring several short films by NFT students and written the music to a number of theatre productions, including The Trojan Women (Teatro Technis, Camden), Eskimo Sisters (The Pleasance Theatre, Islington) and more recently A Little Neck at Hampton Court Palace.
Adam recently collaborated with Andy Price scoring Law & Order: UK, an adaptation of the long-running US TV series. He has since scored The Well, a four part teen horror series for Conker Media for the BBC and is due to start on Season 2 of L&O this later year.
ah. All roads lead to Nehan. I'd actually like to have a chat with you about a piece I'm writing about Thomas Midgely jnr. His Wikipedia entry is pretty accurate. What I've sketched out so far involves dance and original music. No harm in swapping a few words, eh?
Hi Adam, welcome to National Theatre Wales, great to see you on here! Thanks for replying to my Introduce Yourself forum and it's great to hear about what you've been up to. Law and Order SVUs is my favourite TV show of all time and I am very impressed that you have been involved with the London version of the original series (though got to say I still prefer the US one) x
