Course: Plays for Today

This new 10 week course will introduce Greek tragedies and will focus on Prometheus Bound, The Cycle of Oedipus, and The Bacchae. The underlying theme of these plays is authority with all its various manifestations, which we will study in-depth.

Classical Education Forum Summer Programme

The Classical Education Forum, Cardiff, has just released its summer programme. The prospectus provides courses, saturday schools and trips on a range of subjects, including the Arts, History and Literature.

There is also a trip arranged to visit the production: Aeschylus' The Persians in August.
