What I do:
Learning to write. I lecture in design and run my own business.
A little more about me:
Fascinated about writing for performers. Had professional experience as an Interactive narrative Installation artist. have lectured in film & media, editing, fine art and Design.
Over the years I have flitted between between timebased audio-visual work and applied design and education ( in order to earn a living)

I was a professional artist for 11 years in the Netherlands and I'm used to combining elements of large scale projection, live performance and live orchestras in my work.

In order to return to Wales I took up Art, Media and Design lecturing, in at FE, HE and MA levels.

I've recently completed MA modules in writing for Radio and Writing for Soap at Aberystwyth University under the Skillset Academi project.
I have enjoyed working with Scriptography Productions Response Team on rapid 36 hour responses to art works at the Artes Mundi & Shani Rhys James exhibitions. this has given me a taste for writing for performers.

An area in which I would like to explore more.
Penarth near Cardiff, happy to work in West & Mid Wales.
Projects I’m working on:
I enjoy working with Scriptography Productions Response Team on rapid 36 hour responses to art works recently wrote for performances at the Rates Mundi & Shani Rhys James exhibitions.

I have numerous writing projects.
I have a collection of scripts and examples of writing particularly based on the experience of 2nd generation Turkish immigrants living in Europe (Relevant to Wales and The Netherlands)

Am researching a local historical project based around the death of a family member in Cardiff Roath Dock which has resonated for over a century. I would like to collaborate with local dancers, musicians and performers to experiment with performance possibilities.

Although I've lived away and returned to Wales with a multi-national family, all sides of my own family came to the Cardiff & Penarth Dock area in the 1860's and we have a rich oral history to work on with the local community.I'm passionate about preserving the voices of these communities.
