Casting for NTW05 The Beach

Last week we had three casting sessions to try and find two actors for our 5th production, THE BEACH.

We saw actors in separate sessions in Prestatyn, Cardiff and London. Leading the session were Bethan Marlow (one of the three artists who is making THE BEACH), Sam Jones (our casting director), Lucy Taylor (Sam's assistant) and me. We saw actors in small groups and asked each actor to bring a game with them to share.

Peter Cheeseman

Last week, I was told that Peter Cheeseman, theatre director, visionary and agitator, had passed away. I'm really sad that I won't be able to talk with him again.
