See Oedipus | Antigone in the Empty Sherman Building...

We're almost done packing up Sherman ready to move into our temporary offices for the building redevelopment - but before the work starts we have one final show - Oedipus | Antigone - which will be performed in the empty hallways, dressing rooms and stages of the Sherman building. Cardboard Dad - on NOW!

Cardboard Dad opened at Sherman last week and after going to one of the first performances, I can wholeheartedly recommend it – it’s a beautifully written, funny, quirky piece.



Based around the idea from America, where families can order ‘Flat Daddies’ when their loved ones are away on duty with the army (Google it – the pictures are weirdly fascinating!), Cardboard Dad is the story of Donna, who after receiving her ‘Cardboard Dad’, finds her life turned upside down.

Directors' Week

Don't forget Directors' Week this week (9 - 12 Sept) at Sherman. Sita Calvert-Ennals, Sarah Bickerton and Bridget Keehan have been mentored by established directors as part of the year-long Directors' course run by Sherman Cymru and Living Pictures.
