Hello Everyone,

I've done my day in the NTW office and would like to share with you the end results if you don't mind.....no?...well ok then...

My day revolved around a lot of recording sounds from around the office of which I had help from some of the team such as Gavin, Michelle, Kathryn and Hannah. We built up a big bank of sounds that I then speedily turned in to loops and set up a session in Ableton Live for the team to have a go at manipulating and playing with them.

We had a good ol' giggle - particularly with Kathryn singing the Star Trek theme and Michelle turning her voice in to a crazy alien sound - and I hope they enjoyed it as much as I did.

It's surprisingly quiet in the NTW office at the mo but I must say I don't think I've ever listened to a bell or phone ringing quite as much as I did that day!

As a thanks I've composed a short piece of my own from the sounds recorded on the day and I hope you all like it. Also there is a recording of everyone having a go a triggering sounds and making some noise available for the staff to hear (and yes, the Star Trek theme is there aswell) so for those of you that couldn't make it you can have a gander at what we got up to.

Thanks to Michelle, Kathryn, Gavin, Steve, Devinda, John, Jenny, Matt, Catrin & Hannah for making me feel welcome with a cuppa and for letting me hijack their meeting room for a while.
