Auditions - The Snow Queen by Scott Pryor and James Williams

The Unknown Theatre Company; Cardiff’s award winning, dynamic, innovative theatre company (established 1997, with a proven track record of excellence and opportunities)  for young people 13 -25 are holding auditions to join the company for their autumn production of The Snow Queen. 

 

Fresh from the premiere of The True True Story of Quincy Jones at Lefel 1, St David’s Hall, which was part of the Welsh Proms, the company are now making plans for the coming months. 

 

The Snow Queen written by Scott Pryor with Music by James Williams will be performed during the week beginning 10th December 2013.  James Williams will be directing, with Emma- Jayne Parker co-directing and choreographing. 

 

A workshop for the show will take place at Roath Church House on Tuesday 10th September 7.00 till 9.30.  It will be an informal evening…a get to know you, then James will workshop some pieces from The Snow Queen and begin to teach some of the songs. 

 

There are 19 roles in the show and auditions will take place on Sunday 15th September from 2p.m. until about 9p.m.  Further auditions will take place on Tuesday 17th from 7p.m. until 9.30p.m.  You will need to prepare a song to sing for us that you feel comfortable with and that showcases the range of your voice.  Please bring sheet music with you (or let us know if you are having difficulty sourcing it in case we have a copy).  To book an audition slot please email Jane on jane@unknowntheatre.wanadoo.co.uk or leave a message on our Facebook Group THE UNKNOWN THEATRE COMPANY.  You are also invited to come along on Tuesday 10th and book your place then.  However in order to secure a time slot that suits you best, you are advised to book your place as soon as possible.
