With far less fanfare than it deserves, Local News Port Talbot has made a fantastic start at spreading the word about events in the town.

It's a not-for-profit cooperative, manned by a dedicated team of volunteers - professional journalists, photographers and the like - who are passionate about delivering local news in what is an incredibly bustling town.

Passion's Project Associate and, I predict, Miss Port Talbot 2011 Adele Thomas has a blog on the site, providing updates, pictures, back-stage news and handy information for everyone and anyone who wants to get involved. The preparations for the show are gathering pace, so keep your eye out for any developments.
