It's been a wonderful week seeing the responses to Go Tell The Bees Mission 1 – our sunflower make!

On Wednesday, Key Stage 3 pupils at Cynffig Comprehensive School in Bridgend celebrated World Bee Day by taking on the mission. Their beautiful creations are displayed in the galleries below!

They have also kindly shared their PowerPoint - a brilliant resource which gives a handy breakdown of the mission. Huge thanks to all of the pupils and teachers and we can't wait create a whole field of sunflowers with you on the summer solstice on Saturday 20th June. That's when we'll be holding a big online procession and we're excited to share more details about it soon!

If you haven’t seen it yet, here’s our animated guide on how to make your 3D sunflower –

I found that a cereal box works really well to cut out the base and I didn't have any green paper so was able to paint some, but don’t worry if can't find materials at home! You can get in touch to request an art pack and we’ll get them to you in the post. Just fill out the request form on the NTW website or email team@nationaltheatrewales.org with your name, address and how many sunflowers you’d like to make.

We're looking forward to seeing more photos of your flowers, please share them with us on Facebook and Instagram using the #ntwTEAM hashtag.

The sun may have disappeared again but you've kept our spirits bright! Diolch Cynffig Comprehensive!
