Thanks for putting this up Kelly. I spoke at this event last year about National Theatre Wales' The Beach, immersive writing and theatre. I was the only female speaker there.
It really was a wonderful event, with some great speakers and the writers who won last year's prize (who, by the way, were women) created a really exciting project. I'm sad to see that this year, there is not a single female speaker listed.
In a genre that is already seen to be donimated by male voices, it's a shame that women creating work in this field are again left off the panels. I know that from last year's event, close to 50% of the attendees, listening to the speakers and taking part in the writing workshops were female. So we are out there! And as I said, the winning project was created by women...
But how can we get our voices, faces and bodies seen as "experts"?
