Love Steals us from Loneliness, rehearsals week 2

Well it's nearly thursday and I haven't blogged yet this week - you must all be missing me!

I have been trying to get some nice video moments form rehearsal but the camera I have keeps embarrassingly beeping when it is turned on - highly distracting for the actors - so I haven't managed to get much yet. I will try my best to get some tomorrow and attempt to upload them before the weekend.

This week has been a trip down memory lane into the hazy, boozy days of teenagerdom ( is that even a word?), downing shots, getting caught with your knickers round your ankles in a graveyard - trying to wee al fresco!, flirting, not flirting, crossing the line, wanting to cross back, saying the wrong thing, drunkern fights, hysterical moments of uncontrollable laughter, fun, froliks, sex, love, mistakes and..... zoombies. And all this often before midday!

Fortunately Katie and Mark had excellent 'falling' classes at college so they execute the drunken fall fantastically, although I think secretly they probably have big fat bruises on their bottoms and they are both just putting on a brave face.

Katie has bought her character Catrin a book on 'understanding men' and I noticed that it was absent form the set this evening so she must be at home with her feet up reading about 'the rules' and what to do when 'the man retreats into his cave', so tomorrow she will be able to handle any man who dares cross her path! Tempted to have a little sneaky look at it myself!

The cast still keep making me laugh one minute then cry the next even though I know the script pretty well now so it shouldn't still affect me...but it does - every time!

Did I mention the songs?? Beautiful, touching .....
