Thanks to funding from Arts Council Wales we are commissioning 6 plays, 3 poems and 3 prose for broadcast on our radio programme, Pitch, the arts and culture programme for Cardiff and beyond, on Radio Cardiff.

All commissions are for three minute pieces.

All should involve at least one of the following three themes Radio / Cardiff / The arts

The plays should be for a cast of three, any mix of male / female - The plays can be in Welsh or English and will be performed by a cast of professional actors.

Poetry and prose are to be performed by the author, and therefore can be in any language.

There will be a writers fee of £300 for each commission.

Commissions will be based on submitted ideas, and any supporting materials that you would like to submit. Please indicate which form you would like to write. PLEASE NOTE, DON"T SUBMIT A FINISHED PIECE AT THIS STAGE - THIS IS A COMMISSION PROCESS, NOT A COMPETITION

Please submit initial thoughts to rhmorgan@mac.com by 5th November. Those selected for commission will be notified by 11th november and finished work will need to be submitted by 31st December.
