Theatr Wildcats at Unity Festival!!
Come down to The PierHead, Cardiff Bay, tomorrow at 3 and see Theatr Wildcats perform The Ancient Mariner and Powys Dance dance! These performances are free, and are the end result of a project between Celf o Gwmpas, Hijinx Theatre, Powys People First and Powys Dance, as part of the fabulous Unity Arts Festival. Thank you, Jain, and on behalf of the group thank you for your excellent direction. Theatr Wildcats have benefitted enormously from the intensive work they undertook for this performance. Their levels of self confidence and commitment have greatly increased, as has their ability to engage with the medium of acting. The new experience of day-long rehearsals was a bit of a shock to the group initally, but the benefits of this way of working were apparent as it facilitated their level of involvement with the piece. I hope the audience enjoyed the performance, and I'm sure Theatr Wildcats will be back at Unity Festival next year!

It was a great day. A huge thankyou to everyone who made yesterday happen. We had a fabulous audience and the whole thing just made my heart smile.
