'One of the most devastating 30 minutes you are ever likely to experience in the theatre...’ The Guardian

Things for Alex are good. He loves his wife, his daughter, his city, his job. But sometimes the force of life can crash against you. Sometimes everything you thought you could always depend on can be taken away.

Sea Wall is a story about family, fear and the things that can't be undone.

Director and performer Andrew Sterry grew up in Mid Wales and has returned to live in Presteigne.  His theatre credits include Flesh and Blood and Everything Must Go for Sherman Cymru, The Snow Queen, Cinderella and Lysistrata for the Mid Powys Youth Theatre and Cinderella for Theatr Powys. For the last three years Andrew has helped run festivals and events for Sheep Music, Abergavenny Food Festival and at the Secret Garden Party.

John Hymas is a professional instrumentalist and composer. Since moving to the Welsh borders he has written scores for Diversions Dance Company, Theatr Powys, Presteigne Festival of Music and the Arts and numerous community projects. John is a member of acclaimed folk crossover band Hoover the Dog and local roots favourites Little Rumba. For the last 10 years he has run Sheep Music's highly respected youth music programme Black Sheep White Sheep.

Sea Wall will be performed on Thursday 24th, Friday 25th & Saturday 26th March at 8.00pm in the Assembly Rooms, Presteigne. Tickets are on sale from the Judges Lodgings, Presteigne, Tel: 01544 260650

Sea Wall was first shown at the Bush Theatre in 2008 as part of the Broken Space Season.
