As some of you will know Ark in the park took place this Sat 2nd Oct.

The Day kicked off at 11.30 with a game of Bull run however my day started much earlier. After rushing home on the 1st to collect some bits and bobs that were needed for the Game, I had a 7.30 start to the day. I got into Cardiff just before 11 and met with the cast to let them all know what we would be doing that day.

At about 1 the game I had designed for the day (Cat & Mouse) took place with it's first set of players. I wounder if they know how privileged they were, to be the first players ever to attempt the mission. The game managed to run to the end with out any major hick ups. Then it was on with the rest of the day.

The day in general was very enjoyable with a steady flow of people arriving at various points throughout the day. The general public also showed interest with many people asking about what was happening and some even deciding to stay and play.

After the day was done I went to drop my bag of props at my friends house and headed back to town. On the way we discovered a small festival happening in Adams Down. There was a great sense of community spirit, despite one child punched another in the face. Cheese burgers were £1.10 and drinks cost 2 for £3, you also stood a chance of winning Cardiff devils tickets. I had an excellent day and the tickets would of finished the day off well. However guilt kicked in when i did win, so I asked the organisers to draw again to let some one who lived locally win the prize.

My day finished in Buffalo bar at Oktoberfest well worth a visit and the perfect way to finish a day full of fun games and adventure. If anyone is interested in playing Cat & Mouse in the future please get let me know and we will set up another day to play.

If that wasn't enough it almost time for Horseboy to get on his bike and today I started working on rude. So watch out Cardiff I will be about for a while. Keep an eye open for the next ARK event coming to an empty shop in the city. Also keep looking out for blogs about RUDE a ska musical coming to Cardiff December 8th.

Right that's all for now.
