Weekly Meisner practice group sessions, starting 11/1/11

Living Pictures and I are running a weekly Meisner practice group every Tuesday, 19.30-21.30, at Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff.

Meisner is an acting technique developed in America by Sanford Meisner, a former member of the Group Theatre. Its objective is 'to live truthfully under a set of given circumstances' (the given circumstances being the camera/stage/blocking/script etc). It creates alive performances for long runs or many takes.

I was trained by Scott Williams from the Impulse Company, who in turn was trained by Meisner himself. We will not be charging for the group as Robbie and I see it as an opportunity for both of us to practice too.
