Early Days of a Better Nation

Join this group to get up to date information about Coney's research and development performance in Cardiff:The revolution is over. It is time to start shaping your new nation.   What are the rules we want to live by? Who leads us? Why are we a country at all? Early Days of a Better Nation is about the opportunity to start again. A theatrical exploration of the nature and limitations of democracy, which may - or may not-  unravel into a political game of unintended consequences. This is an…See More

How's it going?

'What does a Welsh person sound like?'

(Silence)

'How do I know?!'

So after the initial reaction to the huge question, I began to think about the details of my utter cluelessness and realised it wasn't through a lack of knowledge that I couldn't answer this question: it was because there was a full warehouse in my brain with a zillion different answers and I couldn't fathom where the beginning…

Hi Cari, you are now officially added to the list for Tuesday evening. Full details will be sent to everyone by the weekend. I've just finished the treatment. There will be nothing too onerous, no lines to learn. Just the artists of Cardiff sending a message to the world via a love poem. Start rehearsing at 6, finish performing by 20 to 7.

See you there.
