Hello! If you're new to this social network site, please introduce yourself to our community.

Who are you? Why are you here? What do you do? How are you already involved in theatre - as a fan/participant/performer/artist? What do you want from National Theatre Wales? How do you want to become more involved with us and what we do?

PLEASE - Be honest and don't feel that you have to impress anyone.

As for me, I'm Catherine and I'm a Creative Associate with National Theatre Wales. I am Cardiff born and Cardiff bred... and very proud of it. I am a theatre director and have directed plays and lead projects with professional performers, new writers and young artists in lots of exciting places.

I want National Theatre Wales to put Welsh talent in Welsh productions on an international stage, speaking with and for Welsh artists and Welsh audiences. This social network will be the first place for this to happen as it is a space where National Theatre Wales can have an open dialogue with its core members - you, our community.

I hope you will use this social network to influence our work, to tell us how you want to get involved, what work we should be making, where you want us to go, where we are doing well and where we can do better.

Together we can build a community of people who talk to each other to make National Theatre Wales the best it can be - a truly National Theatre owned by the community it works with and for.

Hi, I'm Hazel Anderson, co-founder of Likely Story Theatre. Currently based in Cardiff and making work for family audiences in rural areas.  There are three of us.  Myself and Anne went to Aberystwyth Uni and have found it hard to leave Wales ever since and Ellen Cardiff born and bread.  We are fairly new, strive to work collaboratively and we are still working it all out!  Love everything about NTW and proud to be part of the community.  Always looking for new people to meet, to chat through projects & ideas, partnerships or just for a good old cupa and a chat!  www.likelystory.org.uk

Hi I'm Rebecca,

I'm an actress, born and bred in Newport.

I have recently finished studying for my MA in acting at Birmingham School of Acting and have returned to South Wales and am really keen to get involved with local theatre and other exciting projects.

I'm currently working for Firehorse Productions based in Port Talbot touring the South of England.

I have a real passion for new writing and would love to perform in that area of theatre.

i am excited to see so many local actors and theatre people on here and hopefully will get to meet some of them in the near future!

Hi!
I'm Claudia, I'm from New Zealand (though I'm actually Australian) and heard about the National Theatre of Wales from Sam Scott, from Massive Company who has just been on a visit. I've only been with MCE for this year and loving it, I'm currently also in a small scale play of Antony and Cleopatra. I, just like everyone else have great plans of doing well in the world of drama, but if that doesn't work out I'm hoping for social work. My cousin went to the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, so I have some very rather indirect connections with Wales  :D

My aim is to someday move over to Britain to start a theatrical career as an actor, first things first though I have one last year of school!
