Theatre company Human Beast is presenting Siamber Wen (the White Chamber) at Chapter, Cardiff, on June 9^th and 10^th. There will be 2 performances each night, at 7:30pm and 9pm. Running time approx 50 minutes.

We are looking for a volunteer lighting operator for all four performances. You will also be needed to learn the show on Tuesday
8^th of June.

The piece is a dance/circus/sound installation, a unique theatrical experience. Events spoken of in Welsh Mythology inspire a
fragmented and disturbing tale. A young girl and her family, masked figures and
dark deeds behind blank walls weave together
to create a magical and haunting world. Sound art duo Solarference create a
powerful live soundscape, merging electronic music with traditional Welsh folk
songs.

The lighting has been designed by Edmund MacKay and is extremely exciting. This will be an interesting project to be involved

with. We are also hoping to take the piece on tour in the Autumn/Winter so this
may lead to a paid position with the company.
