Notional Theatre has a weirdly interesting and definitely commercial new project in mind. Before getting into serious R&D we would like to sit down with any creative producer who fancies a cup of coffee and the promise of something extraordinary.

Please get in touch and we'll see where it goes from there.

AWAY WITH THE FAIRIES

Notional is in the process of making an unbudgeted short. It’s been scripted and cast and is currently being storyboarded and scored - but we really need a DoP and a make-up person to make it the most it might be.   Filming is on the 7th and 8th of February.

This film is the first step in a new project ‘Away with the Fairies’. If you’d like to be involved in what has the promise to become a mix of digital and site-specific theatre (and are happy to work, at this stage, for love and sandwiches) please get in touch.

If you look at the poster you'll see that Notional Theatre is the only organisation in the UK mounting an event in conjunction with the Berlin Literary Festival. It's at the Abacus (the old bus station ticket office) in Wood Street, Cardiff, at 6.45 on Monday 8th September. Would you like to read some of Snowden's words into a camera? The list is nearly full but we are keen to have YOU as part of the event. If you don't want to be a reader but would like to support this one-off event do let us know you are coming. The Abacus is a fantastic new gallery in Central Cardiff and they are giving the space for this event free so we need as many as possible to come along and support their private bar. Let us know if you are coming: admin@notionaltheatre.com

On Sept 8 will be a part of Berlin Literature Festival's worldwide reading for Edward Snowden. Get in touch if you might like to be a part of it.

Hey All, Notional is looking for two male actors for a 5 minute script-in-hand on June 20th. The script is kind of a double-take on Godot to be performed at the opening of the Solve et Coagula exhibition at The Abacus - a new Cardiff gallery. You would need to be available that afternoon for the rehearsal part of a rehearsed reading. Please note, don't get your hopes up, there will be no profits to share, just beer and networking. Is there a creative producer out there with skills to organise a tour of festivals? That’s where Awkward Turtle Flips the Bird is heading but we need someone special. In the first place, let’s keep it informal; if it’s you or someone you know, just get in touch, meet over a cup of coffee, see where it goes.
