Once you are part of this growing network, you get the chance to take part in our creative activities, get special ticket offers for our shows, and opportunities to assist on our productions.

If you’ve got an idea that you want to share, a creative project that needs an outside eye to glance over it, or you are looking for some guidance from a supportive arts community you have come to the right place.

TEAM can offer you training to help you lead a project with confidence, set up a community group or craft a performance piece.

We invite you to post your events, ideas and opportunities here. Let’s get the word out, shall we?

The Radicalisation Of Bradley Manning went into rehearsals a week ago. Before we take it to Edinburgh next week we are inviting TEAM members to sit in on rehearsals on Thursday afternoon. If you would like to know what goes on inside the rehearsal room and to see how the production has changed please e-mail annapoole@nationaltheatrewales.org to register your interest.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Following on from our collective launch... (see my blog below) we are running some creative workshops that are open to all. On Sunday 28th July it becomes a walk-shop in Newport City Centre and beyond as we invite people to join us on a series of walks led by 4 local artists. These walks will involve nothing other than observation, discussion and inspiration. We know where we are going but we don't know how we will get there. We aim to leave from the Westgate Hotel at 11.00am ... so please feel free to join us for some or all of this event. This has been sponsored by TEAM, Arts Council Wales and Newport City Council. We hope you can make it.... do wear comfortable shoes.

Would you like to represent NTW TEAM at Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year?

We are looking for two TEAM members to spend 10 days at Edinburgh Fringe Festival to support the marketing and promotion of The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning.  If you are successful you will be expected to flyer for approx. two hours per day and report back on shows you see through written and video blogs.  The TEAM members are also invited to suggest and carry out innovative and exciting promotional ideas to gain attention on the renowned Royal Mile.

Ideally the two TEAM members will be in Edinburgh from Monday 5th August – Thursday 15thAugust.  There is some flexibility in these dates so if you are unable to make it for the full 10 days, or these dates do not suit you, please still apply and we can discuss this further.

Travel, accommodation and a number of theatre shows will be covered.

To be considered for these opportunities please e-mail me on annapoole@nationaltheatrewales.org answering the following questions by Friday 5th July.

1. How would you promote The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning?

2. How would you recruit new TEAM members?

3. How would you personally benefit from spending 10 days at Edinburgh Fringe festival?

I look forward to hearing all your ideas :)

Last night was the final evening of a handful of sessions in Cwmparc, thanks to - Catrin Doyle filmaker, Jeff Jakers writer, performer, and musician Laura Bradshaw for getting us to use our voices again.

The beautiful building in Cwmparc is above Treorchy Village on a hill, with lovely veiws of the high mountains curving behind the building,we began last night in the sunny garden/reception area, and went inside after warming up vocaly with more singing, making shadow images and devising stories from objects we had made.

Jeff Jakers and Barry Sidings sang original songs to end the evening off, I'm looking forward to seeing the full Five Peice band in our comedy festival (with Positively Ponty) in October, and sooner than that in St David's hall next month.

It was a first for Three Rivers Voices to visit a venue away from our base in Pontypridd, we were so impressed with the facilites in Cwmparc, the welcome from the volunteers and the lovely spaces to work in.

TEAM helped Three Rivers Voices set up in the beginning of the year and we are now planning an exiting  event in Pontypridd May 2014 - onwards and upwards!

Youth Arts: Young People’s Survey

Please find below a link to an online survey for the Arts Council of Wales Celebration of Youth Arts Feasibility Study. The survey will allow young people to give their opinion on whether there is a need to further celebrate youth arts in Wales and how this could be achieved.

Anyone under 26 can fill in the survey. You don’t need to be currently involved in youth arts. Surveys must be completed by 08/07/2013.

Fully completed questionnaires will be entered into a prize draw. A winning name will be randomly selected in July 2013 and the winner can choose either an iPod Shuffle, or voucher worth £50 to be spent at either WHSmith or iTunes.

To fill in the questionnaire, click on the following link:
