A little more about me:: Chantel Mathias is a highly experienced and enthusiastic former teacher (English and drama & theatre studies). Since 2009, she has worked in and with colleagues in the arts and education sectors as adviser, support consultant and project manager for the Times Educational Supplement, the National Theatre and Channel 4’s Doc Academy. For the past year, she has worked at the Centre for British Teachers as NSP Partner on the Literacy and Numeracy Framework in Wales. She adopts a focused and creative approach to school improvement projects. This is underpinned by an ethos of collaboration and reflection. She is passionate about and committed to creative and arts-based education, and to closing the attainment gap.
