A little more about me:
Through most of the 1980s I was a performance poet, after being shortlisted for The Vivien Ellis Prize for writers of New Musicals, I became more interested in theatre, and in 1989, enrolled on a BTEC Performing Arts Course. I mainly worked in Children's theatre - Theatre in Education - Wrote the book for and took a starring role in the Children's Gothic Sci-Fi Musical "The Beeneez Quest For Trumpor" (The Princess Royal Theatre, Port Talbot - 1990) - Director, and play a leading role in Ken Campel's Children's Play "Skungpoomery" (The Princess Royal Theeatre, Port Talbot - 1991). In 1999 I entered the world of comedy, becoming a stand up comedian, performing as a character called Psycho Dave - My first television appearance as this character was on the ITV 1 stand up show "Take The Mike". In 2007 I won the Channel four "Gags To Go" competition, for writers of comedy for new media - as a result of this, I was invited to co-write Channel 4s first online comedy sketch show (The Paranoia Show) - I also had a comedy show on local radio (The Bizarro World Of Psycho Dave). I have written and presented a number of podcasts, including "The Small World Of Little Jimmy Small" and "Sherlock Holmes And The Christmas Garfunkel". I am currently a director of a new theatrical production company, based in Swansea, called "Tent Of Xerxes"
Projects I’m working on:
Setting up Tent Of Xerxes - a Theatrical Production Company.
I am also writing a play based around my stand up comedy character Psycho Dave
